The theme of the renewal of ANICA cinema in Rome is freely inspired to the Stanley Kubrick movie "2001: a space odyssey". The three spaces forming the structure of the cinema have been associated to the three colors characterizing the movie from the American director. The white (light), the red (heat), the black (dark). The reception room’s floor and walls are made of white resin. The ceiling is realized with a white translucent plastic membrane back illuminated. The colour of the illumination can change so that the environment modifies its chromatic characteristics only through the use of the light.
Il tema del rinnovamento della sala ANICA è stato interpretato ispirandosi liberamente al film “2001 odissea nello spazio” di Stanley Kubrick. I tre spazi che costituiscono la struttura del cinema sono stati associati ai colori che caratterizzano il film del regista
americano. Il bianco (luce), il rosso (calore), il nero (buio). La sala dei ricevimenti ha il pavimento e le pareti in resina bianca. Il soffitto è realizzato con una membrana in plastica elasticizzata e traslucida bianca e retro illuminata. Il colore della illuminazione può variare in modo che l’ambiente cambi le sue caratteristiche cromatiche solo attraverso l’uso della luce. Uno specchio posto sulla parete di fondo, solo in prossimità dei margini dell’involucro spaziale, conferisce all’ambiente un senso di continuità.
