STATUS: CONCEPT

The project intention is to attract into the building this potential city audience. The music produced in the centre faces the noises of the city. A series of pyramidal elements are oriented towards the city and to the institute. They consist of four auditoriums forming a link of spaces “loop” shaped. The pyramidal elements where are located the stages can shift connecting the four auditoriums and transforming them into a continuum space, while the music flows from one room to another overlapping with an infinite path. The member of the audience, freely moving around, meets the experimental music, while musicians can improvise by hearing each other’s work. The internal events are projected to the next one backstage generating an overlapping of images that will finally be projected on the façade.

La musica sperimentale prodotta in questo istituto non è facilmente apprezzabile da un vasto pubblico. Il progetto è costruito con l'intento di spingere il pubblico potenziale  della città a conoscere una diversa realtà. Per collegare visivamente ciò che avviene all'interno dell'istituto con lo spazio urbano si è introdotto un elemento vetrato che, isolato acusticamente, permette di "osservare" i suoni dell'istituto e i rumori della città. Il visitatore può cosi osservare contemporaneamente ciò che avviene all'interno e all'esterno ed è così spinto ad entrare. Le quattro sale per i concerti si intersecano una nell'altra formando uno spazio continuo a forma di 8 dove lo spettatore , muovendosi liberamente, entra in contatto con la musica sperimentale.
