STATUS: CONCEPT
The building surrounding the plaza of the port is slightly detaches from the cliff forming an interstitial space where the nature of the place converses with the new activities and constitutes the stage backdrop. The building is emptied on the ground floor and it is entirely crossed by the plaza that also stretches out it toward the mountain. It will be partly covered by a steel tensile-structure connected to the cliff on which a net will handed synthetic material. This covering allows to increase the shading during the summer and constitutes the structure on which can grow a climbing vegetation that covers partly the building. This light structure is also used for sustaining the solar panels.
L’edificio che forma la piazza del porto si distacca leggermente dalla rupe formando uno spazio interstiziale dove la natura del luogo dialoga con le nuove attività e ne costituisce il fondale scenografico.
L’edificio è ampiamente svuotato al piano terra ed è interamente attraversato dalla piazza del porto che si protende anche verso la montagna. Esso sarà in parte coperto da una tenso-struttura in cavi di acciaio collegati alla rupe sulla quale sarà porta una rete in materiale sintetico. Questo rivestimento consente di aumentare l’ombreggiatura nei mesi estivi e costituisce la struttura su cui può svilupparsi una vegetazione rampicante che copre in parte l’edificio. Questa struttura leggera è utilizzata anche per sostenere i moduli fotovoltaici in silicio policristallino.
